DETROIT, IT WAS MEANT TO BE
HELLO, MOTOR CITY!
We’re thrilled to welcome PWHL Detroit as the league’s ninth team, debuting in the 2026–27 season at Little Caesars Arena. It’s an honor to join this passionate community and its hockey tradition, and we're excited for all the memories we’ll share in our inaugural season and beyond.
The PWHL and the Motor City have had a love affair for as long as the league has existed. It was only fitting that history led to Detroit getting a team of its own.
