A trailblazer and one of the most influential figures in women’s hockey history, Rhéaume joins the team following four seasons with the Los Angeles Kings in Hockey Operations and an impactful 11-year tenure with the Little Caesars AAA (LCAAA) Hockey Club.
Sciba is a native of Westland, MI, and joins his hometown team after serving two seasons as an assistant coach for the PWHL’s New York Sirens and brings more than 15 years of coaching experience to the role.
The PWHL and the Motor City have had a love affair for as long as the league has existed. It was only fitting that history led to Detroit getting a team of its own.
