DETROIT, MI (June 22, 2026) – PWHL Detroit today announced that goaltender Alice Philbert has signed a two-year Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) Standard Player Agreement through the 2027-28 season, and forward Olivia Wallin has signed a one-year agreement for the team’s inaugural 2026-27 season. Wallin was a member of the Ottawa Charge during the 2025-26 season, earning a reserve contract out of training camp and onto the active roster with two appearances in the lineup. The 24-year-old from Oakville, ON, was selected by the Seattle Torrent in the sixth round of the 2025 PWHL Draft following two seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. With the Bulldogs, Wallin competed alongside PWHL Detroit defender Nina Jobst-Smith and third-round pick MK O’Brien. She recorded a career-high with 40 points (16G, 24A) in 39 games as a graduate student in 2024-25, tied for the team lead and ranking among the nation’s top 20 scorers. PWHL Detroit now has 15 players under contract with Wallin joining fellow forwards Hannah Bilka, Jesse Compher, Britta Curl-Salemme, Shiann Darkangelo, Taylor Girard, Hilary Knight and Daryl Watts.
