DETROIT – PWHL Detroit today announced its inaugural home opener for the 2026-27 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) regular season will be played on Saturday, Dec.12 at 12 p.m. ET against the New York Sirens, marking the team’s historic debut at Little Caesars Arena.
PWHL Detroit will make its official debut on the road in the season’s first all-expansion matchup on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 8 p.m. ET against PWHL Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena as part of the PWHL’s opening weekend that features all 12 teams in action. The complete regular-season schedule will be announced on Friday, Oct. 2.
Tickets are on sale at 11 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster for the PHWL Detroit home opener and can be purchased online here.
