Bumstead spent last season as an assistant with the Torrent after spending four seasons behind the bench as an assistant coach for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies women’s team, while simultaneously coaching in player development with the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades.
The Seattle Torrent's first Learn to Play program is a 7-week session designed for Women and Gender Diverse Adults (18+) who have never played hockey or have minimal experience.
Each camp emphasizes teamwork, confidence and inclusion, celebrating the belief that hockey is for everyone.
Each attendee's experience includes coaching from the Seattle Torrent Organization and a Torrent jersey.
