CAPTAIN BLAYRE TURNBULL ANNOUNCES PREGNANCY

Toronto Sceptres captain Blayre Turnbull announced that she is pregnant with her first child via her Instagram.

General Manager Gina Kingsbury released the following statement on behalf of the organization:

We are very excited to welcome Baby Turnbull Sommer to the Sceptres family!

Blayre will continue to be a leading presence for the team off the ice throughout the season. She is determined to return to play once ready, following the birth of her child, and the Sceptres will be there to support her every step of the way.

This is an incredible milestone for Blayre and Ryan, and we wish them all the best in this amazing journey to their next chapter as a family!
