We recently caught up with defender Amanda Boulier of the Montréal Victoire over email to learn about how she's spent her offseason. Here's what we found out.

Where have you spent most of your summer?

I spent most of my summer in Boston. We bought a house the day before our wedding.

Did you go on vacation at all?

We went to Manchester, VT for our wedding. Going on a honeymoon next year!

I saw Ziggy Alberts in Montréal.

Did you watch any good shows or movies?

My favorite show this summer was “Sirens.”

What’s your song of the summer?

Song of the summer has been “After Dark” by Noah Rinker.

Did you read any good books?

I read Chelsea Handler’s book. She’s wildly entertaining.

What and where was the best meal you ate?

Pancakes from September Cafe in Montréal.

How many days of the week have you been on the ice?

3 days per week.

If you could be guaranteed to improve one element of your game this offseason, what would it be?

Working on improving my deceptive footwork.
