TORONTO – The Toronto Sceptres today announced that forward Sara Hjalmarsson has been re-signed to a two-year Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) Standard Player Agreement through the 2027-28 season. With Hjalmarsson, the Sceptres have signed 17 of the 29 players attending next month’s training camp in preparation for the 2026-27 campaign.

Prior to the PWHL, Hjalmarsson was a captain for Linköping HC of the SDHL for two seasons after graduating from Providence College.

Of the 17 players signed to the Sceptres roster, nine are forwards and nine are under contract beyond this coming season.
