SEATTLE (November 20, 2025) – The Seattle Torrent today announced its official roster ahead of the start of the team’s inaugural 2025-26 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season. The 23-player active roster features 13 forwards, seven defenders and three goaltenders, while an additional three players open the season as reserves.
“We’re so excited to announce Seattle’s first ever PWHL roster: a competitive group with the spirit and determination to make an immediate impact in this league,” said Torrent General Manager Meghan Turner. “We feel great about the way this roster will gel, and we’re proud to forge a new path in a market with such a rich history of support for women’s sports. We can’t wait to hit the ice, show our fans who we are, and define what Torrent hockey means.”
Following Training Camp, the Torrent signed a pair of drafts in forward Lily Delianedis (3rd round) and defender Lyndie Lobdell (5th round), plus forwards Brooke Bryant and Seattle native Marah Wagner to one-year Standard Player Agreements to complete its active roster. Forwards Jada Habisch (4th round), Sydney Langseth and defender Emily Zumwinkle were each signed to Reserve Player contracts.
The Torrent will open the 2025-26 regular season on Friday night against the Vancouver Goldeneyes at Pacific Coliseum. The team’s inaugural home opener is scheduled for the following Friday, Nov. 28 against the Minnesota Frost at 1 p.m. PT at Climate Pledge Arena.
