SAN JOSE, CA (July 8, 2026) – PWHL San Jose today announced that forward Brooke Bryant of Linden, CA, has been signed to a one-year Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) Standard Player Agreement for the team’s inaugural 2026-27 season. The signing brings the San Jose roster up to 13 players under contract for the upcoming campaign.
Bryant is a three-year PWHL veteran who made history as the league’s first-ever player from California. The 25-year-old began her PWHL career with Minnesota and won back-to-back Walter Cup titles, recording five points (2G, 3A) in 57 total appearances (48 regular-season games, nine playoff games) in two seasons with the Frost. She spent the 2025-26 season as a member of the expansion Seattle Torrent, registering one assist in 23 games. A product of the San Jose Jr. Sharks program, Bryant played five collegiate seasons at Minnesota State University and won gold with Team USA at the 2024 Inline Hockey World Championship.
On PWHL San Jose, Bryant is the seventh forward to sign following Anne Cherkowski, Maggie Connors, Kristin Della Rovere, Natálie Mlýnková, Kristin O’Neill and Maddi Wheeler. The team’s roster also includes defenders Rory Guilday, Hadley Hartmetz, Mariah Keopple and Daniela Pejšová, plus goaltenders Abbey Levy and Corinne Schroeder. Bryant is the third former Seattle player to sign with San Jose, reuniting with former teammates Keopple and Schroeder.
