NEW YORK (September 2, 2026) -- The New York Sirens today announced that forward Paetyn Levis has signed a contract extension through the 2027-28 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season. Levis, who holds the Sirens' record for most career games played, was previously under contract as part of a three-year term through the 2026-27 campaign.
Levis has missed just one game in three seasons in New York and is one of only three players who has been with the organization since the PWHL’s inaugural season, alongside defenders Micah Zandee-Hart and Jaime Bourbonnais. In 83 career PWHL games wearing teal, the 26-year-old from Rogers, MN, has recorded 21 points (9G, 12A) and set career-highs in all offensive categories in 2025-26 with 10 points (5G, 5A) in 30 games. Prior to her selection in the 10th round of the inaugural PWHL Draft, the 5’5” forward was a standout for The Ohio State Buckeyes, notably winning the 2022 NCAA National Championship as Tournament MVP and a Frozen Four All-Star.
The Sirens have 18 players under contract for the upcoming season, with Levis a part of the forward group that consists of Anna Bargman, Clair DeGeorge, Emmy Fecteau, Sarah Fillier, Elle Hartje, Kristýna Kaltounková, Denisa Křížová and Makenna Webster. The Sirens roster also features defenders Lauren Bernard, Maja Nylén Persson, Dayle Ross, Nicole Vallario, Bourbonnais and Zandee-Hart, plus goaltenders Elaine Chuli, Kaley Doyle and Callie Shanahan. Additionally, forward Casey O'Brien was protected by the team during the PWHL's Expansion Player Distribution Process.
