Training Camp to feature 29 players at Essex County Codey Arena
NEW YORK (October 7, 2026) – The New York Sirens have announced their training camp roster in preparation for the 2026-27 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season with 29 players who will hit the ice at Essex County Codey Arena. The Sirens will open training camp on Wednesday, Nov. 18, following the completion of the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship taking place in Denmark from Nov. 6-16.
"We’re excited for camp and for the opportunity to see our players bring the work they’ve put in during the offseason to the ice and show us what they have to offer," said Sirens General Manager Pascal Daoust. "It’s also where a group starts to become a team. Our job now is to build the connections, trust and accountability that allow us to play for each other, together, while holding ourselves to a standard of excellence in our unique New York Sirens style. We know the work is just beginning, and we can’t wait to build it with our fans."
The camp roster consists of 16 forwards, nine defenders, and four goaltenders, and includes 19 players who are already signed for the upcoming season and 18 who were members of the Sirens during the 2025-26 season.
As part of training camp, the Sirens will play two preseason scrimmages on Monday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. ET against the Boston Fleet and Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 4 p.m. ET against the Montréal Victoire, both at Boston Sports Institute.
The Sirens will open the 2026-27 regular season at home on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. ET against the Fleet at Prudential Center.
