MONTRÉAL (October 6, 2026) – The Montréal Victoire announced on Tuesday that forward Skylar Irving has been re-signed to a one-year Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) Standard Player Agreement for the 2026-27 season. The signing brings the Victoire roster up to 19 players under contract for the upcoming campaign.
Irving recorded nine points (3G, 6A) in 27 games with Montréal last season, her first in the PWHL after being selected by the Victoire in the third round (20th overall) of the 2025 PWHL Draft. She finished tied for 10th among league rookies in goals and 11th in assists and points. The 24-year-old also appeared in two playoff games, helping the Victoire capture its first Walter Cup championship last spring.
A Kingston, MA native, Irving played collegiately for the Northeastern University Huskies where she scored 42 goals and added 57 assists in 152 games. She also registered an impressive 581 shots on goal during her collegiate career.
The Victoire will begin defending their title on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. ET when they host PWHL Hamilton at Place Bell. Tickets for this game are already on sale. Victoire Single Game Tickets will be available on Friday, Oct. 9 starting at 10 a.m. ET.
