The Montréal Victoire Pride Unity Game is designed to celebrate Pride as a moment of visibility, belonging, and community, while recognizing the contributions of 2SLGBTQ+ athletes, leaders, and organizations across Montréal. Developed in collaboration with local community partners, the game centers authenticity, inclusion, and representation, creating space for celebration, connection, and recognition throughout the PWHL game experience. Programming throughout the night highlights the role of 2SLGBTQ+ communities across all levels of sport and society, reinforcing the importance of visibility, access, and belonging both on and off the ice.

Montréal’s Pride Unity Game will feature programming integrated throughout the full game experience, including:

-Live ceremonial moments highlighting 2SLGBTQ+ voices and community representation

-Community organization presence and engagement on the concourse

-In-game recognition and storytelling celebrating 2SLGBTQ+ impact in sport and society

-Featured in-arena entertainment spotlighting Montréal’s 2SLGBTQ+ community

-Post-game engagement opportunities connecting players and community partners

Canadian National Anthem – Safia Nolin

Safia Nolin is a Montréal-based singer-songwriter known for their emotive and introspective sound. A prominent voice in Québec’s music scene, Nolin’s work has resonated widely for its authenticity and vulnerability. Their performance will open the game with a meaningful moment that reflects the spirit of Pride and celebrates 2SLGBTQ+ visibility through music.

In-Arena DJ – DJ Montana

DJ Montana will be featured throughout the Pride Unity Game, performing during pre-game as well as the first and second intermissions. A proud member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, DJ Montana is known for her electrifying sets and strong connection to Montréal’s music and nightlife scene. Her presence will help create a high-energy, celebratory atmosphere while highlighting local 2SLGBTQ+ talent.

Warrior of the Game – Michèle Brousseau

Michèle Brousseau will be recognized as the Pride Unity Game Warrior of the Game. A longtime leader within Montréal’s 2SLGBTQ+ community, Brousseau has dedicated over 20 years to GRIS Montréal as a Development Planning and Coordination Officer. Her work has played a significant role in advancing education, awareness, and inclusion across Québec, helping to create more informed and inclusive communities.

The following organizations will be present on the concourse, providing opportunities for fans to engage, learn, and connect:

  • Alphabet Sports Collective

    Alphabet Sports Collective is a Canadian nonprofit organization dedicated to creating safer, more inclusive spaces for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in sport. Through research, education, storytelling, and community-driven initiatives, the organization works to challenge systemic barriers and reimagine sport as a space where all identities are welcomed, respected, and able to thrive. Their work centers amplifying 2SLGBTQ+ voices, building inclusive practices across sport systems, and fostering meaningful cultural change within athletic communities.

  • GRIS Montréal

    GRIS Montréal (Groupe de recherche et d’intervention sociale) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to demystifying sexual orientation and gender identity through education and awareness. Through workshops in schools and community spaces, GRIS works to reduce prejudice and foster more inclusive environments across Québec.

    Gay and Grey Montréal is a community organization that supports and connects older 2SLGBTQ+ adults through social programming, advocacy, and community-building initiatives, helping to reduce isolation and ensure continued visibility and support for aging members of the community.

    Project 10 is a Montréal-based organization that supports 2SLGBTQ+ youth aged 14–25 through active listening, housing support, and community programming. Their work focuses on addressing social isolation, mental health, and housing instability while creating safe, affirming spaces for young people.

    Aide aux Trans du Québec is a peer-support organization that provides information, support, and referrals for trans, non-binary, and questioning individuals, as well as their loved ones. Through helplines and resources, they work to improve access to services and promote understanding of gender diversity across Québec.

    Centre de solidarité lesbienne is a community organization dedicated to supporting lesbian and queer women through social services, support groups, and programming. Their work fosters connection, empowerment, and visibility while creating spaces centered on shared experiences and community care.

    Coalition des familles LGBT+ supports and advocates for LGBTQ+ families across Québec through education, resources, and public awareness initiatives.
