Training Camp to feature 30 players at TRIA Rink
ST. PAUL, MN (October 7, 2026) – The Minnesota Frost have announced their training camp roster in preparation for the 2026-27 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season with 30 players who will hit the ice at TRIA Rink. PWHL training camps open on Wednesday, Nov. 18, following the completion of the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship taking place in Denmark from Nov. 6-16.
"We're excited to bring together an amazing group of women in preparation for the 2026-27 season at this year's training camp," said Frost General Manager Melissa Caruso. "We feel very fortunate for the incredible talent we were able to retain this offseason and look forward to what camp holds in store. Every new addition was intentionally selected with their skill and character in mind as we continue to construct a roster that'll build on the legacy that is Frost hockey."
The camp roster consists of 17 forwards, nine defenders, and four goaltenders, and includes 17 players who are already signed for the upcoming season and 16 who were members of the Frost during the 2025-26 season.
As part of training camp, the Frost will play two preseason scrimmages on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 8:50 p.m. CT against PWHL Las Vegas and Monday, Nov. 23 at 3 p.m. CT against the Vancouver Goldeneyes. Both scrimmages will take place at America First Center in Henderson, NV.
The Frost will open the 2026-27 regular season on the road against PWHL San Jose on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. CT, with the home opener scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. CT against the Seattle Torrent at Grand Casino Arena.
