PWHL LAS VEGAS SELECTS LACEY EDEN IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE 2026 PWHL DRAFT

DETROIT, MI (June 17, 2026) – PWHL Las Vegas selected forward Lacey Eden from the University of Wisconsin in the first round (fifth overall) of the 2026 PWHL Draft presented by Upper Deck, which is currently taking place at Fox Theatre in Detroit, MI. 


Eden played collegiately at the University of Wisconsin, becoming the only player in program history to win four national championships. In the 2025-26 season, the 24-year-old native of Annapolis, MD, was the nation’s leading scorer, tallying 29 goals and 48 assists in 41 games played as a graduate student while helping lead the Badgers to a national championship. Across 178 career games at Wisconsin, Eden notched 245 points (105G, 140A), finishing in the top five in program history in total points and garnering All-WCHA honors three times. On the international stage, Eden has represented the United States the IIHF Women’s World Championship five times, earning two gold medals and three silver medals.
