LAS VEGAS, NV (July 8, 2026) – PWHL Las Vegas today announced that forward Sydney Langseth has been signed to a two-year Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) Standard Player Agreement through the 2027-28 season. The signing brings the Las Vegas roster up to 13 players under contract ahead of the team’s inaugural 2026-27 campaign.
Langseth spent the 2025-26 season as a rookie on the Seattle Torrent, earning a reserve contract from her training camp invitation. The 24-year-old from Eden Prairie, MN, was activated following the Olympic break and made her professional debut on Feb. 27. She held a spot in the lineup for the team’s final 16 games of the season, predominantly at center, compiling a 43.5% faceoff efficiency (30 wins on 69 attempts). Langseth played five collegiate seasons at Minnesota State University, graduating as the Mavericks’ all-time leader with 162 games played and sixth in program scoring with 90 career points (36G, 54A).
On PWHL Las Vegas, Langseth is the seventh forward to sign following Jada Habisch, Katy Knoll, Darcie Lappan, Maureen Murphy, Hayley Scamurra and Natalie Snodgrass. The roster also includes defenders Erin Ambrose, Mae Batherson, Madison Bizal, Megan Carter and Kendall Cooper, plus goaltender Nicole Hensley. Langseth is the fourth former Seattle player to sign with Las Vegas, reuniting with former teammates Carter, Habisch and Snodgrass.
