A statement from Danielle Marmer, Boston Fleet General Manager:
It was announced today that Kris Sparre has accepted a new opportunity with PWHL Hamilton. While we had hoped to continue building with Kris in Boston, we respect and support his decision to be closer to his young family. Opportunities to lead a team in your hometown are rare, and we wish Kris and his family all the best as they begin this new chapter in Hamilton.
On behalf of the entire Boston Fleet organization, we want to thank Kris for his immediate positive impact on our team. It was a record-breaking season fueled by the vision and culture established from the start of Training Camp, and we’re grateful for the passion and dedication he brought to our group every day.
While transitions are never easy, they also create an opportunity to grow and expand on what’s been built over the past three seasons. As the Fleet, we have always championed a team-first culture and remain dedicated to building a team this city can be proud of. We are deeply committed to hiring a head coach who not only shares our values but will continue to elevate our team on and off the ice.
To our Crew, we are excited to continue our journey together, building on our momentum and striving to reach even greater heights here in Boston.
