Tsongas Center (FAQ's & Venue Policies)
In order to maintain a safe and secure environment at the Tsongas Center, we have implemented a bag policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into our venue.
Guests will be able to carry ONE of the following bags into the venue:
- One bag that is clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and does not exceed 12''x12''x 6''.
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Small clutch bags, which CANNOT exceed 4.5"x6.5", with or without a handle or strap.
- All bags within clear plastic bags cannot exceed 4.5"x6.5" in size.
Exceptions will be made for medical, family, or child care bags.
Agganis Arena (Building Policies)
BAG POLICY
To provide a safer environment for the public, Agganis Arena will not allow any bag that exceeds 12” x 12” x 6” into the facility. All guests are subject to search. Please allow additional time for entry and please plan accordingly.
SECURITY SEARCHES & METAL DETECTORS
To help ensure the highest level of safety and security, all Arena guests, employees, and vendors are subject to security searches and a courtesy screening, which may include metal detection devices.

Over-sized signs (larger than 2' x 3') are prohibited.
Agganis Arena
Guests are not allowed to bring any outside banner(s) into the Arena. Small signs are permitted as long as they do not block the view of others. Large signs and signs that contain sticks and poles are not allowed into the Arena. Arena management reserves the right to remove any sign in Agganis Arena.

Tsongas Center
Many guests are extremely excited about seeing their favorite artist perform and want to preserve this special moment by taking pictures. To ensure you fully enjoy your experience at the Tsongas Center and are never disappointed or inconvenienced; we would like to provide you with the Tsongas Center standard camera policy and some general information about taking pictures at our events.
It is extremely important to know that each show will have its own unique restrictions on photography and video, but generally, the following standard restrictions apply to Tsongas Center events. Please note in all instances, the show camera policy supersedes the Tsongas Center standing camera policy.
- No Video Recording from any source
- No Audio Recording from any source
- No Professional Cameras
- Tsongas Center defines a professional camera as “a camera, digital or otherwise, with a detachable/interchangeable lens of any size/type.”
- Selfie sticks, go-pro devices, and iPads are not permitted inside the venue
Agganis Arena
Agganis Arena’s policy on cameras and recording equipment varies. In general, flash photography is prohibited at all events; Arena policy on the use of video recorders or digital cameras with recording capabilities varies by event. Arena personnel reserves the right to examine and prohibit the use of any camera or recording equipment it deems unacceptable. Refer to the individual event page for more information about camera policies.
The PWHL is committed to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans. Please refrain from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language, or obscene gestures. Do not engage in fighting or the throwing of objects. Please report any violations of these rules to the nearest usher, security or guest services staff member. Be aware that pucks can be propelled into the spectator area with enough force to cause serious injury. Please remain alert at all times.
