NEW YORK AND TORONTO – The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) will bring its biggest stars together in Toronto on March 7, 2027, for PWHL All-Star presented by Scotiabank, featuring a four-team, 3-on-3 tournament at Scotiabank Arena and marking the first PWHL-hosted all-star event in league history. Scripps Sports will air the tournament on ION throughout the United States, while TSN will provide English-language coverage and Radio-Canada will provide French-language coverage in Canada.

PWHL All-Star presented by Scotiabank on Sunday, March 7, will feature four teams of PWHL All-Stars competing in a 3-on-3, round-robin format: PWHL Canada, PWHL International, PWHL USA, and PWHL Rookies. For the purposes of this event, players in their first PWHL season, regardless of age, will first be eligible for the PWHL Rookies team. At the completion of the round robin, the second- and third-ranked teams will play in a semifinal game to determine who will face off against the first-ranked team in the PWHL All-Star Final. Each team will consist of a 10-player roster of six forwards, three defenders, and one goaltender.
All-Star starters will be selected through a combination of fan, player, and media voting, while the reserve players will be selected by league hockey operations.

As part of today’s in-person announcement at the Hockey Hall of Fame in downtown Toronto, an official countdown clock to the inaugural PWHL All-Star on March 7 was unveiled. The All-Star countdown clock will be displayed at different locations in Toronto in the lead up to All-Star, giving fans across the city a chance to interact with the countdown in person. Beginning Sept. 25, fans will be able to see the clock displayed at Union Station’s Front Street Promenade, one level down from the Great Hall, with more locations to be announced.
Beyond the on-ice action, fan and community activations will also take place in Toronto, adding to the weekend’s festivities. PWHL All-Star presented by Scotiabank will mark the league’s first independently hosted All-Star event and another milestone in the PWHL’s history in Toronto. The league officially dropped the puck on Jan. 1, 2024, when Toronto hosted New York in the first game in PWHL history at Mattamy Athletic Centre. One month later, PWHL players took part in the Canadian Tire PWHL 3-on-3 Showcase at Scotiabank Arena as part of 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend.
