by PWHL Staff

It goes without saying that we absolutely loved the women’s hockey action at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. We made a whole web hub dedicated to it that you can still check out any time.

The Winter Olympics featured amazing hockey that had the PWHL’s imprint all over it.

The first half of the PWHL season was nothing to sneeze at, either:

Well, now we’re getting to the absolute best time of the hockey season: the playoff stretch. Between the post-Olympic storylines, games at some amazing venues and matchups that will have huge impact on who makes the playoffs... these are eight dates in the second half of the schedule that stand out for games you simply cannot miss (in chronological order).

Single-Game Tickets to these or any other matchups are available now! Check out the season schedule and select the games of your choice.

March 5 – Northeast Battle (Boston at New York)

After a weekend of Olympic celebrations and look backs coupled with some great action in front of huge crowds, things heat up this week when Boston, which leads the league in winning percentage, visits the young, high-scoring Sirens.

March 13 – The Olympic Stars Game (Seattle at Minnesota)

This one is circled for obvious reasons. Two rosters loaded with Olympians meet in a matchup that showcases some of the sport’s most recognizable names fresh off the world’s brightest stage. Whether you’re tracking individual stars such as Taylor Heise, Kelly Pannek, Hannah Bilka and Julia Gosling, or simply savoring elite‑level hockey all over the ice, this game promises skill, speed, and storylines from some of the best players in the world.

March 28 – The Takeover Tour returns to Detroit (New York-Montréal)

The PWHL Takeover Tour™ is back in Detroit, a city whose hockey roots run deep. The January 3 Fleet-Goldeneyes game at Little Caesars arena was a thriller and this matchup between the Sirens and Victoire should be as well. Expect intense hockey and an extremely passionate and knowledgeable crowd.

March 29 – First- half leaders meet (Boston at Minnesota, plus Vancouver at Toronto and Ottawa at Seattle)

The calendar barely flips before another heavyweight showdown arrives. Boston travels to Minnesota for a meeting between teams that set the pace through the first half and remain firmly in the championship conversation. Add in two other key games across the league—Vancouver visiting Toronto and Ottawa heading to Seattle—and this becomes one of the most stacked dates of the entire season.

April 4 – The Sirens take Manhattan (Seattle-New York at Madison Square Garden, plus Vancouver at Minnesota)

PWHL Hockey under the bright lights of Manhattan? Sign us up. The Sirens host Seattle at the iconic Madison Square Garden, bringing the league to “The World’s Most Famous Arena” for the first time. The game date also features a compelling Vancouver at Minnesota matinee, but it’s the evening spotlight at MSG that makes this day extra special. Expect big‑game energy with famous fans, a packed house and great hockey.

April 7 – Takeover Tour wraps up in Edmonton (Boston-Vancouver, plus Seattle at Montréal)

The 2025-26 PWHL Takeover Tour™ concludes in the heart of hockey country. Edmonton gets a marquee matchup as Boston faces Vancouver in a game that could have serious playoff implications—and an electric atmosphere. That same day, Vancouver’s expansion sibling Seattle will also be scratching for its playoff lives against current league leaders Montréal.

April 11 – The Fleet at TD Garden (Montréal-Boston, plus New York-Minnesota and Ottawa-Toronto)

The Fleet shift to their biggest stage yet as Montréal arrives for a late‑season showdown at TD Garden.

With additional action around the league happening earlier in the day (New York at Minnesota and Ottawa at Toronto), April 11’s games should carry massive implications across the standings. Having Olympic goalies Ann-Renée Desbiens and Aerin Frankel lead their respective teams into Boston’s hallowed arena will make the night cap one to remember.

April 25 – All Eight Teams in Action (New York at Boston, Toronto at Ottawa, Montréal at Seattle and Minnesota at Vancouver)

The final game date of the regular season. All eight teams on the ice. Playoff brackets hanging in the balance (final playoff spots have been determined on the last day of the regular season in each of the PWHL's first two seasons). Whether you’re scoreboard‑watching, tuning in for a specific matchup, or just soaking in the chaos of the regular season’s final day, this date could be as big as regular‑season hockey gets.
