WHAT THEY’RE SAYING
“It’s going to be a great game. This whole league is great! We got a small glimpse of one another in the scrimmage game, but neither one of us looked like the teams we will have on the ice come Saturday. They’re a great team. We’re a great team. I anticipate it’s going to make a great game!” – Charge Head Coach Carla MacLeod.
“I'm very happy with where our team is. We want to be aggressive, we want to be physical, we want to be fast. We want to be able to put pucks in the back of the net, and we want to be relentless.” - Victoire Head Coach Kori Cheverie.
SATURDAY’S GAME: La Belle Province has been highly anticipating the Montréal Victoire to hit the ice in their new uniform for the first time. They will do so in Place Bell which will serve as the team’s primary home venue after playing four regular season games and two playoff contests here in Season One. Fans in attendance will receive a rally towel courtesy of PWHL Founding Partner Canadian Tire. PixMob will ignite the crowd with immersive wearable LED technology that will turn PWHL fans into human canvases of light. Fan, and player favourite, DJ Montana will be making sure that Victoire home games maintain the party atmosphere that fans loved and appreciated last season. Following a successful first youth hockey clinic in October, the Victoire will continue to support girls' hockey throughout the season, and the Timbits from the Laval Girls Hockey Association will entertain fans during a mini match at the first intermission. Fans in attendance are also invited to show their creativity and support by making signs to inspire current and future players. Krystel Mongeau will sing the National anthem.
