Maude Poulin-Labelle attended Stanstead College before heading to the NCAA, spending four years at the University of Vermont, and one at Northeastern University.
Natalie Spooner grew up in the Durham West Jr. Lightning organization and even played some playoff games in the CWHL as a call-up before venturing to Ohio State University. After setting the program’s record for career goals (100), she returned to the CWHL with the Toronto Furies, winning one Clarkson Cup. After the CWHL folded, she joined the PWHPA where she played from 2019-2023. Spooner has two Olympic gold medals and one silver, along with three gold, six silver and one bronze from the World Championships.

Which room in your house is your favourite and why?
Poulin-Labelle: Bedroom for sleeping and pre-game nap.
Spooner: The bedroom, I love to nap.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Poulin-Labelle: Poutine. Vive le Québec! The most important thing is to find a place with great fries and a good sauce. In Québec, I would say almost every place is great.
Spooner: Pizza or anything chocolate!
What is your dream destination or favourite place to travel?
Poulin-Labelle: I don't have a specific place, but I really want to visit Europe.
Spooner: I have been fortunate to travel to many amazing places but one I haven’t been to yet is Australia!
What is the best tournament you played in growing up/in college?
Poulin-Labelle: Playing in the NCAA Frozen Four!
Spooner: The inaugural U18 Women’s World Championships on home soil in Calgary, Alberta.
What superpower would you want and why?
Poulin-Labelle: Skate like FAST and score like SPOONER!
Spooner: Teleportation so I could travel around the world without wasting time driving.
