The Toronto Sceptres Pride Unity Game is designed to celebrate Pride as a moment of visibility, belonging, and community, while recognizing the contributions of 2SLGBTQ+ athletes, leaders, and organizations across Toronto. Developed in collaboration with local community partners, the game centers authenticity, inclusion, and representation, creating space for celebration, connection, and recognition throughout the PWHL game experience. Programming throughout the night highlights the role of 2SLGBTQ+ communities across all levels of sport and society, reinforcing the importance of visibility, access, and belonging both on and off the ice.

Toronto’s Pride Unity Game will feature programming integrated throughout the full game experience, including:

-Live ceremonial moments highlighting 2SLGBTQ+ voices and community representation

-Community organization presence and engagement on the concourse

-In-game recognition and storytelling celebrating 2SLGBTQ+ impact in sport and society

-Featured in-arena entertainment spotlighting Toronto’s 2SLGBTQ+ community

-Post-game engagement opportunities connecting players and community partners

National Anthem – TEMPO! (The 519’s Queer Tenor Choir)

TEMPO! is a Toronto-based queer tenor choir supported by The 519. The ensemble brings together singers from across the 2SLGBTQ+ community to create powerful, affirming musical experiences that celebrate identity, connection, and belonging. Their performance will open the game with a meaningful moment that reflects the spirit of Pride and sets the tone for an inclusive and celebratory night.

In-Arena DJ – DJ Levi

DJ Levi will be featured throughout the game, bringing energy and visibility to the in-arena experience. A prominent presence within Toronto’s 2SLGBTQ+ community and nightlife scene, DJ Levi is known for creating inclusive, high-energy environments that celebrate identity, connection, and community. Her presence helps elevate the game atmosphere while highlighting local 2SLGBTQ+ talent.

SharkNinja Warrior of the Game

This in-game recognition will feature a newcomer supported through Rainbow Railroad initiatives, highlighting stories of resilience and reinforcing the importance of global advocacy and support for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals.

The following organizations will be present on the concourse, providing opportunities for fans to engage, learn, and connect:

  • Alphabet Sports Collective

    Alphabet Sports Collective is a Canadian nonprofit organization dedicated to creating safer, more inclusive spaces for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in sport. Through research, education, storytelling, and community-driven initiatives, the organization works to challenge systemic barriers and reimagine sport as a space where all identities are welcomed, respected, and able to thrive. Their work centers amplifying 2SLGBTQ+ voices, building inclusive practices across sport systems, and fostering meaningful cultural change within athletic communities.

  • Sport-A-Rainbow

    Sport-A-Rainbow is a national initiative dedicated to advancing inclusion, equity, and belonging for 2SLGBTQ+ participants in sport across Canada. Through education, policy development, and partnerships with sport organizations, Sport-A-Rainbow works to challenge systemic barriers and create environments where athletes can participate safely and authentically, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.

  • Rainbow Railroad

    Rainbow Railroad is a global nonprofit organization that helps 2SLGBTQ+ individuals facing persecution and violence due to their sexual orientation or gender identity. Through emergency relocation, advocacy, and direct support, they work to ensure that 2SLGBTQ+ people can live safely and freely, regardless of where they are in the world.
