SAN JOSE, CA – PWHL San Jose officially unveiled its inaugural season home and away jerseys today, ahead of their on-ice debut at SAP Center on Saturday, Dec. 5 (4 p.m. PT) against the Minnesota Frost. Tickets for PWHL San Jose’s inaugural Home Opener are available here.

The home and away sweaters proudly feature ‘SAN JOSE’ stitched diagonally across the front, in line with a tradition established across the first eight PWHL teams’ debut seasons. PWHL San Jose will unveil its full team identity – including team names and logos – prior to puck drop, which will be incorporated into on-ice uniforms for the 2027-28 season.

"I’m so excited about San Jose’s inaugural jerseys; I think the bold colors represent the Bay Area vibe so well," said PWHL San Jose forward, Kristin O'Neill. "I can’t wait to take the ice for the first time in our home jersey and see all our fans supporting PWHL San Jose in orange and blue!"

PWHL San Jose’s mandarin orange home jerseys with sky blue accents are bright, bold, and imaginative, capturing the Bay Area’s optimistic energy and the beauty of California. The distinct and recognizable mandarin orange color – a nod to both the region’s orange groves and San Jose’s flag – is a first for Bauer to use as a team’s primary color.

“With Opening Weekend getting closer, unveiling these jerseys is another exciting milestone for PWHL San Jose and the fans who have embraced the team from day one,” said Amy Scheer, PWHL Executive Vice President of Business Operations. “PWHL San Jose is building its own connection with their community, and these jerseys give fans another way to show their pride while carrying forward a PWHL tradition of putting the city name front and center in a team’s inaugural season.”

Produced by Bauer, the Official Jersey Partner of the PWHL, the jerseys are crafted from breathable, durable fabrics and engineered to withstand intense physical play while offering a tailored fit for maximum mobility, comfort, and on-ice performance.

“The addition of four new teams is an incredible milestone and a powerful sign of how quickly the PWHL and women’s hockey are growing. Jerseys have always been special in sport. They represent team identity and create an emotional connection between players and fans. In the PWHL, that connection goes even deeper, representing a community that shares a belief in equity and in the future of the women’s game,” said Mary-Kay Messier, Chief Marketing Officer, Bauer Hockey. “As the exclusive jersey partner, we’re proud to bring the PWHL’s designs to life with the same care, performance focus, and attention to detail that we bring to our most innovative equipment. We can’t wait to see these new teams, and their fans, make them their own.”

Fans will see select PWHL San Jose players don the team’s inaugural jerseys in the community at the San Jose Sharks’ ‘PWHL San Jose’ night on Saturday, Oct. 10 at SAP Center (1 p.m. PT puck drop).
