TORONTO, ON (April 20, 2024) – The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) has announced a series of roster updates ahead of today’s games.
Montréal has signed forward Mikyla Grant-Mentis to a Standard Player Agreement. She originally joined the team as a Reserve Player in March then signed a short-term contract that became elevated to full. The 25-year-old from Brampton, ON, has appeared in the team’s last three games.
Boston has signed forward Nicole Kosta to a Standard Player Agreement. She has been a member of the team for the duration of the season and has appeared in six games – most recently on a short-term contract. Boston has also signed forward Kelly Babstock to a 10-Day contract. She joined the club ahead of the roster freeze. The moves correspond with the team placing Loren Gabel on Long Term Injured Reserve.
New York has signed forward Alexa Gruschow and defender Carley Olivier to 10-Day contracts from the team’s Reserve Player list. Gruschow has previously appeared in one game this season. Olivier’s short-term contract will activate following today’s game.
Ottawa has activated forward Becca Gilmore from Long Term Injured Reserve.
