SIDNEY MORIN IS SCORING FOR THE FROST WHEN IT MATTERS MOST

Share:

Sidney Morin is rising to the occasion for her hometown Frost in the semifinals of this year’s Walter Cup Playoffs. Facing the top-seeded Montréal Victoire, the Minnesota native has scored four goals through the first three games of the series, helping force a winner-take-all Game 5.

Morin entered the postseason with just four career PWHL goals and none during this year’s regular season, but she has already matched that total in this series alone. Her breakout performance has vaulted her to the top of the league in playoff goals while also tying her for the postseason points lead.

She’ll look to stay red-hot as the Frost attempt to close out the Victoire in Game 5 on Monday at 7:00 PM ET. Minnesota is aiming to reach the Finals for the third straight year and keep its hopes of a third consecutive Walter Cup alive.
