Sydney Morrow, a star defender out of the University of Minnesota, enters the 2026 PWHL Draft as one of the most complete defenders available, offering a blend of mobility, offensive instincts, and reliability that projects well to the professional game.
Morrow began her college career at Ohio State and then spent a season at Colgate but it was in Minneapolis that she came into her own as a player. Morrow logged significant minutes in all situations while serving as a leader on and off the ice. Her final season reinforced her reputation as a defender capable of driving play from the back end while maintaining strong defensive habits.
