Lacey Eden 2026 Draft Profile

Share:

Lacey Eden enters the 2026 PWHL Draft as a polished, high-floor forward whose game combines proven production, pace, and strong two-way detail.

The University of Wisconsin product built her profile over five collegiate seasons and finished with the strongest campaign of her career in 2025-26, notching 77 points in 41 (29G, 47A) as she won the fourth(!) National Championship of her career.

Learn more about the path that Eden, who hails from Maryland, has taken to get to this point in her 2026 Draft Prospects Video:

Eden’s appeal goes beyond scoring. She projects as a versatile forward who can be used in matchup situations, contribute on the penalty kill, and support play in all three zones. Her skating remains a major asset, and her puck pursuit, work rate, and detail away from the puck give her a strong foundation for the professional game.

Internationally, Eden has been part of the United States program at multiple levels, reinforcing the view of her as a player trusted in competitive environments. She was a somewhat unexpected cut from the final roster for the 2026 WInter Olympic Games Milano Cortina but that hardly slowed Eden down; instead, she led a team that was down several Olympians and kept the Badgers on track.

Eden discussed much of this in a recent appearance on Jocks Next Gen. Check that out here:

Ultimately, Eden looks like a player who can step into a middle-six role early and earn trust quickly because of her pace, versatility and mature two-way game.
