HILARY KNIGHT WRAPS UP OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES CAREER WITH A SECOND GOLD MEDAL AND A HOST OF RECORDS

Hilary Knight of the PWHL's Seattle Torrent finished her storied Olympic Winter Games career in dramatic fashion, scoring the game-tying goal in the final minutes of the gold medal game against Canada.

The marker capped a historic Olympic career for the U.S. captain. Knight leaves the Games as the all-time leading American in both goals (15) and points (33). With the overtime victory over Canada, she secured her second Olympic gold medal to go along with three silver medals, cementing her legacy as one of the greatest players in women’s hockey history.

Knight finished the Milano Cortina 2026 tournament with three goals and six points.

While Knight has indicated she will be stepping away from Olympic competition, she plans to continue her professional career in the PWHL with the Torrent, for whom she has recorded 10 points in 14 games this season.
