Canadian captain and Montréal Victoire forward Marie-Philip Poulin scored in Canada’s 5–1 quarterfinal victory over Germany on Saturday, tying the all-time Olympic Winter Games goal-scoring record in women's hockey.

Poulin’s 18th career Olympic goal matches the mark set by fellow Canadian legend Hayley Wickenheiser.

Poulin scored in her return to the ice after missing the previous two games of the tournament with a lower-body injury.
