MONTRÉAL, QC (July 21, 2025) – The Montréal Victoire announced on Monday that the club has re-signed forward Alexandra Labelle to a one-year contract extension through the 2025-26 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season.
Labelle (5′7″) scored one goal while adding three assists in 19 games last season with the Victoire. It marked a return to her hometown after playing in New York during the PWHL’s inaugural season, where the 29-year-old scored a goal and registered two assists in 24 games.
“Alexandra's arrival last season gave us some much-needed offensive depth. Her attitude and work ethic are important elements that we will be happy to rely on once more,” said Victoire General Manager Danièle Sauvageau.
In the collegiate ranks, the Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague, QC native amassed 90 points in 97 career games with the Université de Montréal Carabins, which is the fifth highest total in program history. She helped the team hoist its second U SPORTS National Championship in 2016, netting a hat trick in the deciding game. Prior to the PWHL, Labelle spent two seasons competing with the PWHPA and one season with the PHF’s Montréal Force.
“It is with great pride that I wore the Montréal Victoire uniform last season, and I am beyond happy to receive the opportunity to do so again this upcoming season. I will not only continue playing with my teammates that I adore and in front of friends and family, but also for the best fans in the league,” said Labelle.
