Victoria Bach and Emma Buckles sign Standard Player Agreements

TORONTO, ON (February 2, 2024) – The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) has announced that two players have been signed to Standard Player Agreements for the remainder of the 2024 season. Forward Victoria Bach, previously on a Reserve Player contract, has signed with Toronto, and defender Emma Buckles, previously on a Reserve Player contract in Boston, has been signed by Ottawa.

Bach, a 27-year-old from Milton, ON was selected by Toronto in the seventh round of the inaugural PWHL Draft. In a corresponding roster move, Toronto has released Jess Jones from her Standard Player Agreement and moved her to the team’s Reserve Player list. The PWHL permits players on reserve contracts the opportunity to sign Standard Player Agreements with any team. Teams may add players from the league’s list of eligible free agents as reserves, provided their reserve list does not exceed three.
