OTTAWA, ON (June 24, 2025) – PWHL Seattle selected six players in its 2025 PWHL Draft presented by Upper Deck, adding four forwards, one defender, and one goaltender to the organization’s talent pool. These selections add depth to the team’s lineup ahead of the 2025-26 season, joining 16 players already under contract from the 2025 PWHL Expansion Draft and player signing period.
“I am very happy with our draft picks,” said PWHL Seattle General Manager Meghan Turner. “It’s the roster I was hoping for, with the mix of players we selected from both drafts. We have a strong player group from the expansion draft, and all of tonight’s draft picks complement our existing group. I feel like a broken record when I say how excited I am to bring this team to Seattle...Seattle is a great city, and its women’s hockey fans are already dialed into our team. The players and coaches are excited to dive into the community and show Seattle how elite our athletes are –– we are looking to win a championship in year one.”
