Victoire to face the Charge in the Finals

FINAL: VICTOIRE 2, FROST 1

The Victoire win the series, 3-2

The Victoire get it done on home ice, defeating the Frost to earn the chance to face the Ottawa Charge in the Walter Cup Finals. For Montréal, their stars showed up when it mattered most, with an outstanding performance between the pipes from Ann-Renée Desbiens and, of course, captain clutch Marie-Philip Poulin scoring the game-winner.

THE FINALS

The PWHL Walter Cup Finals have arrived. Here’s everything you need to know about the most exciting part of the season and how the Victoire and Charge made it to this point.

PWHL PLAYOFFS CENTRAL

2026 PWHL WALTER CUP FINALS TO BEGIN THURSDAY

The PWHL Walter Cup Finals will begin this Thursday at 7 p.m., with the Montréal Victoire hosting the Ottawa Charge. Game 2 of the best-of-five finals will be played Saturday, May 16 at 2 p.m., also at Place Bell. The Charge will host Game 3 of the series on Monday, May 18 at 6 p.m., followed by Game 4, if necessary, on Wednesday, May 20 at 7 p.m., both at Canadian Tire Centre. Game 5 of the series, if necessary, will be hosted by Montréal.

We teamed up with Peace Collective and some of your favorite players to create a collection designed to help erase the stigma and make space for vulnerability. As part of the campaign, the PWHL and Peace Collective will make donations to Sophie’s Squad and Kids Help Phone, helping expand access to critical mental health education, support, and services across Canada and the United States.
