WHAT IS THE PWHL PRE-SEASON EVALUATION CAMP FAN FEST?

Fan Fest is the only opportunity for fans and community members in Utica, NY, to take part in the 2023 Pre-Season Evaluation Camp activities. Fans can participate in meet-and-greets with players and staff from each of the six PWHL teams, autograph signings, hockey activations, and of course enjoy the pre-season scrimmage between the PWHL Ottawa and New York teams, all taking place starting at 6:30pm ET on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.

WHERE WILL THE FAN FEST BE LOCATED?

At the Utica University Nexus Center, please follow posted signs and event information. Fans who have RSVP’d on or before November 30, 2023 will receive more information by email as event details are confirmed. The Nexus Center is located at 400 Oriskany St. W., Utica, NY 13502.

DO I NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND?

No, however seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis at the game, and fans are encouraged to RSVP by filling out this short form. Fans who RSVP before November 30 will be eligible to receive a limited edition Fan Fest souvenir, but please note that pre-registering for the event will not necessarily guarantee a seat.

WILL MERCHANDISE BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

Fans will have an opportunity to purchase the official PWHL Pre-Season jerseys (game-worn) leading up to and following the event. RSVP to Fan Fest to ensure you get up-to-date information on PWHL merchandise and game-worn memorabilia items.

WHAT CAN I BRING TO FAN FEST?

Bring signs and noisemakers to show your positive support for the PWHL players. Fans are also encouraged to bring small items for PWHL players to autograph, and there will also be free PWHL-branded giveaways. PWHL and Nexus Center staff and volunteers reserve the right to confiscate projectiles or other objects, for any reason, at the event. Firearms and other weapons are not permitted at this event. WHEN IS THE EVENT?

Fans can enter Fan Fest beginning at 6:30pm ET on December 5. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30pm ET, and the game will likely end at approximately 9:45pm ET.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

There are several free and paid parking lots available in the area.

WILL FOOD AND BEVERAGE BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

Yes, Nexus Center concessions will be open during the event.

CAN I BRING A LARGE GROUP TO FAN FEST?

Yes! If you are bringing a group, such as a minor hockey team, please contact info@thepwhl.com and we will work to ensure your group has the best experience possible at Fan Fest, including working to reserve seats for you at the scrimmage.
