TORONTO, ON (March 13, 2024) – The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) has announced that the trade deadline for the 2024 PWHL season has been revised to Monday, March 18, at 4:00 p.m. ET, and that the new roster freeze date will be Tuesday, March 19, at 12:00 p.m. ET.
The trade deadline, originally scheduled for March 17 at 11:59 p.m. ET, has been adjusted to accommodate the league’s rescheduled weekend games and subsequent travel. The new roster freeze date permits a player, who may be released at or before the trade deadline, an opportunity to sign with another team.
